      XFree86.Org released their excellent XFree86 4.2.0 release on January 19, and, while it is already available in many [Linux] distributions, I still cannot see it in /usr/ports/x11/XFree86-4/.  Could that be fixed?  Thanks!

      Easy.  Just cd to /usr/ports/x11/XFree86-4/ and less the Makefile there.  It's pretty clear that PORTVERSION is 4.1.0 and PORTREVISION is 12. *sigh*

      Well, I guess, the port maintainer should compile the vanilla XFree86 4.2.0 sources, see it works, apply the necessary patches, and roll the port! :))
