I have never configured a soundcard in a FreeBSD environment before, so I try asking before venturing into the land of dispair. I have a Yamaha DS-XG based card in the computer that is in for the surgery. What is the appropiate kernel configuration line to get this baby to sing? I searched the mailinglist (general unix, linux and freebsd) and all I found was linux specific things. Perhaps this card isn't usable under FreeBSD? If so, I like to know before spending a day or two getting it all together.
