Try the Aten CN6000... They can be purchased for less than $500... They work GREAT, and can be attached to a KVM switch to cascade for multiple servers. http://www.aten-usa.com/?product&cat=583&Item=CN6000 -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org] On Behalf Of Derek Ragona Sent: Tuesday, April 10, 2007 1:09 PM To: Marc G. The simplest thing you can do is to make sure you are logging the console messages. I set all remote servers to log the actual console output to a separate log file in /etc/syslog.conf adding the line: console.info /var/log/console.log and adding a line to /etc/newsyslog.conf to rotate the logs: /var/log/console.log 600 5 100 * J -Derek -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
