Organization: EDMBBS Marketing Date: Fri, 12 Jan 96 05:02:41 EST Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk I tried installing FreeBSD 2.1 from CD, but when the install program boots into FreeBSD, it panics: rootfs is 1000 Kbyte compiled in MFS /stand/sysinstall running as init panic: page fault I have 2.0.5 running fine on my 4 meg 486SX-25... I want to do an install rather than an upgrade, so that I can repartition my HD to allocate more space for FreeBSD and less for Dos. Unfortunately, I don't have enough Unix experience to decode the error message.
