Maxim, are things working okay for you with the > new freetype2? Didn't have a time to test it extensively. Mozilla works just, but I know nothing about Nautilus. I am having some strange problems with ttf rendering in py-game (it also use freetype2), so that it makes me guess that it is freetype which is in fact borken.
