Apparently, IOCrest released a PCI-E 4.0 1x card that uses this chipset
(AQC113) a couple months ago. Most other *full* 10Gbe options, to my knowledge,
require 4x physical interfaces, which are becoming increasingly rare on modern
consumer boards outside of M.2. (M.2) Interfaces and adapters to other options
do exist, but cost you that m.2 slot and will obstruct a PCI slot or offer an
alternative inconvenience.

If the port doesn't work, sounds like it does not, routing through a linux VM
should.
