I have also proposed to the gentlemen on the cc: that the AP application search for suitable RF operating parameters within the guidelines set by the WISP operator, to include, but not limited to channel, channel width and beacon interval. In fixed wireless, there is no need for such short beacon intervals. In 2003, Cisco published a work around which suggested a beacon interval of 4 seconds. kind regards/ldv On Fri, Nov 12, 2010 at 10:13 PM, Adrian Chadd wrote: > Btw - in a lot of cases, "stuck beacon" is your card telling you "your RF > environment is such that I'm unable to find a quiet period to consider th= e > medium suitable to transmit." > > HTH, > > > Adrian > > On 13 November 2010 12:12, Adrian Chadd wrote: >> >> Hiya, >> >> I have a Bullet M2 here on loan (I'm not sure how long I'll have it for >> though.)
