IMHO, it will still be some time before 2.2 is as reliable. There is no reason that we should not continue to fix obvious errors in 2.1. 2.1 will continue to be available for some time and any applied corrections will also be available (even if they did not make it into 2.1.6) I will even try to get Jordan to include those patches on the 2.2 CDs.
