Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-current@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hello, I have noticed over time that many people are test driving the new ATA Drivers. I attempted to do it a while back but I couldn't boot because of the device name changes. I did not know what the new device names were. Anyway - is there a simple HOWTO for using these drivers - and - are there any gotchas I should be aware of? FYI - I would be using them with a Western Digital 6.4G and 8.0G drive under UltraDMA33.
