https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D207577 Bug ID: 207577 Summary: ports-mgmt/pkg doesn't build with openssl alternatives Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Ports Framework Assignee: portmgr@FreeBSD.org Reporter: dewayne@heuristicsystems.com.au CC: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org On amd64 10.3Beta3, the ports-mgmt/pkg port is hard coded to use openssl libraries. It makes sense for the base operating system /usr/src/usr.sbin/= pkg to be hard-coded to openssl, but not the port version. Perhaps this could = be an option (openssl, polarssl, libressl)? This arose because I have replaced openssl with libressl; and when attempti= ng to build the port version of pkg was greated with=20 ... Making all in . CCLD libpkg.la /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lssl cc: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) *** Error code 1 The only KLUDGE is to rm /usr/sbin/pkg=20 rm /usr/sbin/pkg ln -s /usr/local/sbin/pkg-static /usr/sbin/pkg --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
