Do you have a UPS? This happened to me and I too thought it was the speaker, but the extra juice consumed by the second processor was in fact setting off the UPS alarm when the second processor was loaded up... when idle, nothing. My UPS is next to my box, and for a day I thought it was the PC speaker... -- Jeff
