You're spot-on there, FreeBSD doesn't (yet) support the TMC-1680 SCSI card, although there has been some noise about a driver being written. Having said that, the '1680 is a Really Awful (tm) SCSI card, and given that a decent card (eg Adaptec 1542CF, Buslogic BT542/545) isn't going to cost very much (I bought my BT542's for $20 each), upgrading is a smart idea. > Ming Lu -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] My car has "demand start" - Terry Lambert [[
