Subject:   Make extract builds dependencies?

I find that if I cd to any port dir and type 'make extract',
it builds all dependencies, then extracts the sources and
stops.  I don't recall this being the behavior of 'make
extract' in the past, and it's certainly counterintuitive
to say the least.

I looked at the CVS repository for the ports/Mk files, and
it doesn't look like anything has changed in most files for
at least a couple of weeks, but I generally already have the
dependencies built when I compile a port, so I probably
would not have noticed when the behavior changed...

Is anybody else seeing this behavior, or is something hosed
here?
