Ok, I am currently running ASD 2.5.8 in OF mode, it is in the process of testing the memory now. > - did you already reposition (you have 8 slots) the modules? No, I just took the DIMMs out, and put them back in again, to help in case of corroded contacts. > - when you play with memory, try also to reduce from 2GB to 1GB in > different pair combinations. This machine has room for two hard drives (sata), currently it just has one drive, with OS X on it. I'm thinking abou installing another dive for FreeBSD. Is there a way to do multi-boot (FreeBSD / Linux) on a gpt-partitionec hard drive? > Just thoughts. Your thoughts are very helpful - thanks! -- Torfinn
