When I try to sendmail from my win-98 box on the lan with outlook-express I get; The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'foo@blah.shacknet.nu'. Subject 'freak', Account: 'foo', Server: '192.168.0.2', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 5.3.0 crip.domain.net', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC78 The sendmail logs show the following when I try to send that same mail (above); sendmail[653]: NOQUEUE: connect from crip.domain.net [192.168.0.3] sendmail[653]: eA7GvIJ00653: ruleset=check_relay, arg1=crip.domain.net, arg2=192.168.0.3, relay=crip.domain.net [192.168.0.3], reject=553 5.3.0 crip.domain.net sendmail[653]: NOQUEUE: crip.domain.net [192.168.0.3] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA If this is the incorrect mail-list, please provide address to correct list.
