X-BeenThere: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: User questions List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 04 Nov 2003 08:19:45 -0000 I am reading the MySQL manual for 4.4.1-alpha where it said: "FreeBSD is also known to have a very low default file handle limit." (Section 2.4.6.1) I check the limit by using: >sh -c ulimit -n < unlimited Though I don't know if this is the correct way to check "default file handle limit", but it looks like FreeBSD does not "have a very low default file handle limit"?
