Greetings... I'm having problem while trying to integrate one FreeBSD machine into NIS. Now the situation is: 1. ypbind works fine: `ypcat` gives the right info. 2. I have already modified the passwd file with `vipw`, it ends with"+:::::::::" 3. Installed DES, which I was told to do long time ago. Now the problem is when I try to telnet the machine with NIS account, after I input the passwd, it always gives me: login incorrect! But even now, `su` works! When I try to su to a NIS account from a local account, it accept my passwd. Any one has the idea what should I do next? br, Wang To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
