From: Christopher Rued To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org, khera@kciLink.com Cc: Subject: Re: ports/34388: portupgrade 20020128 won't upgrade since ruby-uri port is gone Date: Tue, 29 Jan 2002 04:47:28 -0800 (PST) I have also seen this. I did a make install on sysutils/portupgrade, then I did a pgkdb -F. This notified me that I had two versions of portupgrade registered, and asked me if I wanted to delete one, so I did (I deleted the older one). Then I did another pkgdb -F and this told me that all ports that depended upon ruby-uri were removed and asked me if I wanted to deinstall it. I said yes. This seems to have made the problem go away. I suppose I may have been able to to a pkg-delete portupgrade* and ruby-uri*, and then just done a make install in sysutils/portupgrade. Hope this helps __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Great stuff seeking new owners in Yahoo!
