This keeps us from giving a bad Vcc instruction to the bridge, which causes an interrupt, which caused the hang. This should help Sony VAIO and Toshiba laptop (ToPIC based ones) hangs on boot/first card use. This will allow more laptop users to install from the cdrom w/o needing silly workarounds.
