Hi Dmitry, The other "workaround" (it only just qualifies as that..) is to uncomment the "PERL_THREADED" line in /etc/make.conf, and rebuild and reinstall world. I had Exim 3.20 working fine, with embedded Perl, in 4.2-RELEASE and 4.2-STABLE, with Perl threads enabled.
