Yes, although it's not particularly simple and will cause applications that use libkvm to become quite confused. For example, if your /usr filesystem is on wd0s1e, you can say load disk0s1e:/src/sys/compile/MYKERN/kernel.debug inside the loader (you may need to say 'unload' first to remove the default kernel). This will leave the kern.bootfile sysctl saying "/src/sys/compile/MYKERN/kernel.debug" and thus any application trying to read the kernel symbol table will fail.
