FWIW, there's nothing wrong with a 153 character hostname. There's a 63 character limit on each label (the text between dots), though to my knowledge, there's no problem stringing together a large number of <= 63 character labels and forming some sort of rediculously difficult to type hostname. though.i.admit.this.would.be.an.incredibly.useless.domain.name.unless.my. sole.purpose.was.to.annoy.the.piss.out.of.people.com.
