I have managed to = install=20 FreeBSD-4.1-stable on my old IBM PC 300 GL. It is and old pemtium based = machine=20 running with a builtin vga and nic card plus 32M of ram. Everything = works a-ok=20 and run like a charm since that I am not running any heavy graphical and = x-windows applications. The problem is that I still cannot use the = on-board=20 ethernet card. It is a CS 89x0 ISA, temporarily I am connecting to the = internet=20 via my newer 3com 3c905 PCI card. If anyone out there has faced this = problem=20 before and have a step-by-step howto/solution I would appreciate it very = much if=20 you guys could email it me.
