Hi! This is a repost from freebsd-questions as I had no answers from this list. Thanks for having a look at it! ------ Forwarded message ------ From: Philippe CASIDY <pcasidy@greatoak.home> Subject: probe0:aic0 ... timed out since 4.0R Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2001 13:35:51 +0200 (CEST) To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org Content-Type: TEXT/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi! I have an adaptec 1505 SCSI controller which used to work pretty well under 3.4R. Since 4.0R to currently 4.3R I am not able to use it anymore. I have a lot of messages (probe0:aic:0:1:0): ccb 0x... - timed out, phase 0x0, state 1 I found under mailing lists archives that several people had the same problem but no solution was published. I read somewhere that the way controller were detected has changed since 4.0R. But how I can I make it correctly detected? Thanks Phil.
