This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00A1_01C134A6.BEF61BA0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit What editor did you use? If it was vi, it is a little quirky. Goto a line BEFORE were you want to insert your text, then hit "A". This will put you at the end of the current line in insert mode. Hit return and type in the text that you want. Then hit escape to go back into command mode. Then type ":wq", to write the file and quite. While you are in command mode, you can use "x" to delete text, "dd" to delete a line. Typing "i" in command mode puts you in edit mode. Anything you type will start at the current cursor position. If you didn't use vi, then I just wasted everyone's time. :-) Good luck, Kory -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Michael Schatte Sent: Saturday, August 18, 2001 1:53 PM To: questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: FreeBSD System Configuration I followed the steps of configuring the network.
