Oh, gack!  I didn't really say that, did I?  At least the printenv output
was a cut and paste, so should show the right value.  Of course, with a
22-bit netmask, the gateway router address changed to 24.192.48.1.

Is it worth trying to tweak the PR into correctness, or is it obvious
