Hi Ken,

Could you try to move your old ~/.eclipse and workspace out of the way and try again? If it still fails, try starting eclipse with
the "-consolelog -debug" flags and send me the output. Could you also send me the output of the "jstack -l <pid>" command when
eclipse stops responding.
