I guess you have libkvm.so.6
(I'm not on 11.0, but I can see /lib/libkvm.so.6 in 10.3).

I think you might want to rebuild "gdnc" from the ports
(http://wiki.gnustep.org/index.php/Platform:BSD#FreeBSD).
