Greetings,

   I have a question about setting the CPU type in a config file for a
custom kernel.  I have a Cyrix-686 (166Mhz) CPU, but I have to specify a
CPU type of 486 in the config file.  Can anyone tell me why that is? 
I'm running FreeBSD 2.2.2.
