Where do you find this information? I just took a look through LINT and found no r10 device anywhere, nor any mention of SMC cards. My SMC EZ PCI cards were installed on the basis of being NE2000 compatible and they've always registered as ed devices. I've always thought my network performance should be better, but fortunately my LAN is small enough that it's not an issue. -- Roger -- Bother, said Pooh, as he field dressed Tigger and Eeyore. >> -----Original Message----- >> From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG >> [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Jim Freeze >> >> Hi: >> >> I checked the FAQ at >> >> http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/install- >> hw.html#INSTALL-NICS >> >> and it listed SMC EZ Card 10/100 PCI 1211-TX as being supported. >> I found a 1244 at CompUSA for $9.99 and was wondering >> if 4.3 supported this card as well. >> >> Thanks >> >> ========================================================= >> Jim Freeze > > >To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org >with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > -- Roger To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
