It's telling you that this port requires ORBit 0.5.12 or later. If you update your ORBit port, you should be set for this error. Many GNOME problems can be solved by making sure all your GNOME bits are up-to-date. You might consider installing sysutils/portupgrade, then doing a: portupgrade -r pkgconfig This should get most of the requisite bits. When that's done, resume your build of evolution. Unfortunately, there's not a good way of doing dependency version checking right now, so this is your best bet.
