I am having a mystery problem here. I am trying to upgrade libwmf. I am running FreeBSD 4-STABLE as of 05/20/2002. When I try to upgrade libwmf, I get the following error: cc -O -pipe -march=k6 -I/usr/local/include/freetype2 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/local/include/libxml2 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -o .libs/wmf2eps wmf2eps.o -L/usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/.libs -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/local/lib ../.libs/libwmf.so -lSM -lICE -lX11 /usr/local/lib/libxml2.so /usr/local/lib/libgiconv.so -liconv -lfreetype -ljpeg -lpng -lz /usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/.libs/libwmflite.so ../.libs/libwmflite.so -lm -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib cc: /usr/local/lib/libgiconv.so: No such file or directory I did a 'grep -r' to se where this is being set and here is what I get: /usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/.libs/libwmf.lai:dependency_libs=' -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lSM -lICE -lX11 -L/usr/local/lib /usr/local/lib/libxml2.la -lgiconv -liconv -lfreetype -ljpeg -lpng -lz /usr/local/lib/libwmflite.la -lm' /usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/.libs/libwmf.la:dependency_libs=' -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lSM -lICE -lX11 -L/usr/local/lib /usr/local/lib/libxml2.la -lgiconv -liconv -lfreetype -ljpeg -lpng -lz /usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/libwmflite.la -lm ' /usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/libwmf.la:dependency_libs=' -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lSM -lICE -lX11 -L/usr/local/lib /usr/local/lib/libxml2.la -lgiconv -liconv -lfreetype -ljpeg -lpng -lz /usr/ports/graphics/libwmf/work/libwmf-0.2.5/src/libwmflite.la -lm ' I rebuilt all of the ports that libwmf depends on but that did not help. Does anyone know why libwmf is looking for libgiconv.so?
