Booteasy will get the disk geometry right if you got it right when you 
were slicing up the disk.  It doesn't attempt to compensate for user 
error.

Grub's versatility is sadly lacking, and its use of a hardcoded 
blocklist for stage 1.5 is highly undesirable.

Have a look at the new bootloader in /boot (build the up-to-date 
version) and see what you think of it.
