Thing is I don't straight away... I type AT and it sits there. If I then press enter again or any other key (it seems to buffer them) it'll show OK > OK #you'll receive this response if your modem is ok > ATD1234567 #1234567 is the number you are trying to call > CONNECT 57600 #if you are connected properly As I type those in, its always 1 character behind as I type.. Anyway I only see the CONNECT string if I hit enter a few times so i can see its got the login message, I log in and it drops my back to PPP again. At this point I'm not sure what to do. It says connect for roughly 30-40 seconds before hanging up. Checking ppp.log I get more than what I'm used to: Apr 25 12:31:41 wolverine ppp[1637]: Command: /dev/tty: term Apr 25 12:31:41 wolverine ppp[1637]: Phase: bundle: Establish Apr 25 12:31:41 wolverine ppp[1637]: Phase: deflink: closed -> opening Apr 25 12:31:41 wolverine ppp[1637]: Phase: deflink: Connected!
