You gotta set up gs (ghostscript). Either add it as a package using
pkg_add or use /usr/ports/print/<whatever gs you want>.

If you have an epson stylus I'd recommend one of the newer
ghostscripts (Alladdin) rather than gs262 since the latter doesn't
support the epson stylus (without major tweaks).

Also I'd recommend to read chapter 7.4 and 7.6 of the FreeBSD Handbook.
