Except, it never drops the line. I have timeout set to 120. I was reading the man page and looked at ppp.conf.filter.sample, and that looks like exactly what I want. However, the man page doesn't say how to install it so ppp will look at it. I briefly looked at the source and there is no reference to ppp.conf.filter or filter.conf or ppp.filter or anything like that. So I assumed that I put it in ppp.conf. So I just appended ppp.conf.filter.sample to the end of ppp.conf. No luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Paul. -- Paul T.
