This would be particularly nice, _most_ particularly if they take the
job seriously and support _both_ platforms.  So many of the commercial
forays into the "free" unix market have been the result of partisanism
on the part of employees or (often justified) commercial timidity.

For a major player like Oracle to support both platforms would
indicate that they were being taken seriously in the commercial world.
The effect that an accolade like this would have on the respective
development communities would, IMHO, be startling in the least.

(ps. a point here; I mean no disrespect to Conetic, who were indeed
first with a commercial database native on FreeBSD, I am speaking here
purely about image.)
