Hi again, this time i got the whole message while getting the kernel trap, and till now we got it twice with the same address: Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode fault virtual addres = 0x38 fault code = supervisor read, page not present instruction pointer = 0x8:0xf01282e1 code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b = DPL 0, pres 1, def 32 1, gran 1 processor eflags = interupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0 current process = 6538 (uucico) interrupt mask = panic: page fault syncing disk.. 22 22 20 15 8 2 (15 times a '2') giving up dumping to dev 401, offset 0 dump 32 and then it hangs with the SCSI LED remaining on. Any suggestions or ideas to get nearer to the error or fix the problem ? Thanxs for the time, Jan
