The 2.2.5 > PAO boot floppy works OK on both machines. This is a non-problem now. It turned out to be that the PCMCIA I/O Address should be set to Legacy/Notebook instead of PCI. Then the whole thing started nicely. I found though a "bug" in the PAO_ALL kernel configuration file It misses the ´controller crd0´ line that is commented as ´not to be deleted´ in the README file, so after having added this line I get the PCMCIA PAO support running. I have another question though. I have a SCSI-PCMCIA card detected as ncv0 when booting from the 2.2.7.-REALEASE-PAO floppy. This is detected fine also after having compiled my kernel. BUT how do I activate the CD that is connected to the SCSI-card? -- __o regards, Gunnar ---_ \<,_ email: flygt@sr.se ---- (_)/ (_) If Bill Gates had a dime for every time a Windows box crashed... ..
