spppcontrol dumps core because the 'buf'-array is a bit too small:

static char buf[10]; <--- should be 30 ?
buf[0] = '\0';
if (flags & AUTHFLAG_NOCALLOUT)
strcat(buf, " callin");
if (flags & AUTHFLAG_NORECHALLENGE)

return buf;
