I have been unable to print since I've installed FreeBSD 2.2.6 (and 2.2.5)... There are no errors in /var/log/lpd-errs and there is no response from the printer using cp <filename> > /dev/lpt0... I've tried polled-mode and IRQ mode with no success... What is wrong??? The port is set to bi-direction in BIOS setup and have tried EPP and ECP mode just for effect... I have a new DeskJet 722c printer and a Dell Dimension 266XPS workstation... What am I missing and what should I try??? -- -={Slyce}=- FreeBSD 2.2.6 User By Day Aggressive In-line Skater By Night ------------------------------------------ I have a choice and it's not Microsoft ------------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
