The only problem I have, is that only root can use the XKB extension. All other users get the message: "Couldn't load XKB keymap, failing back to pre-XKB keymap" I don't know why. I thought it will help to move the xkb dir from /etx/X11 to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11.
