To hear of -current's whois solution, it's much better than mine. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one thinking along the lines of whois being too narrow minded. Sorry for the mail this has generated, had I know it was something already done in -current, I never would have done anything, but I don't track -current, so I didn't know.
