Not long ago I contacted the -hackers mailing list to see if FreeBSD supports LS120 floppy drives. They will hold 120Meg of data and are backward compatible with a standard 1.44 disks. The reply I got is that there is a fairly solid, although beta, driver available for it. I've seen the internal variety of these things for as low as $50 after the rebate. If this is remotely appropriate and you want more info let me know.
