IMO, the Apache confusion has become a wart of the > Ports Collection. I'm running Scot Hetzel's package that he's created using just this idea. One apache port, and several mod ports that use apxs to install. Adding in my own mod's afterwords is a piece of cake (also using apxs). Currently playing with 1.3.12+PHP3.0.15+SSL+FP2000 on my beta web server. Very nice! http://www.westbend.net/~hetzels/mod_apache.tgz I can't wait for the entire Apache ports system to be replaced with this method. Thanks to Scot for showing me the light of day. Previously I was desperately in search of a "kitchen sink" Apache port. Ugh. jon To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
