I'm running Scot Hetzel's package that he's created using just this
idea. One apache port, and several mod ports that use apxs to
install. Adding in my own mod's afterwords is a piece of cake (also
using apxs). Currently playing with 1.3.12+PHP3.0.15+SSL+FP2000 on my
beta web server. Very nice!

I can't wait for the entire Apache ports system to be replaced with
this method. Thanks to Scot for showing me the light of day.
Previously I was desperately in search of a "kitchen sink" Apache
port. Ugh.
