Hello, can someone please comment on the reliability of vnoded swap areas ? I remember somehow that there were problems and machines liked to crash. However, I have only configured 80 MB of `hard' swap space and need more. I'm running 2.1.5R on a 486DX2/66-ISA with 1 IDE, 2 SCSI drives and 16MB RAM under FreeBSD. Is there a way to avoid that the kernel kills my Xserver ? (It's the most efficient way to start all over again :-) Greetings, Robert -- Robert Eckardt ( Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum, Inst.f.Theor.Physik, NB6/169 ) Universitaetsstrasse 150, D-44780 Bochum, Germany ----X---8---- Telefon: +49 234 700-3709, Telefax: +49 234 7094-574 8 E-Mail: RobertE@MEP.Ruhr-Uni-Bochum.de --------8---- URL: http://WWW.MEP.Ruhr-Uni-Bochum.de/~roberte >>> To be successful one needs friends, <<< >>> To be very successful one needs enemies. <<<
