I have just suscribed to freebsd-questions, so I apologize if this has been asked before. I have a new machine (Dell PowerEdge 2200) which uses the Adaptec AIC-7880 Ultra/Wide SCSI controller. I see from the HARDWARE list that the AIC-7850 is supported by 2.2.6. Are these boards close enough that I can make it work? Is this board supported by freebsd-current? If not, I'll need to run out and buy another SCSI adapter.
