Looking at the manpage you're probably right. Since the system needs devices to work, it would not make sense to have a possibility to disable devfs, hence no =E2=80=9Cdevfs_enable=E2=80=9D in rc= =2Econf, so no rcvar and no listing in =E2=80=9Cservice -e=E2=80=9D. Having thought about it, I guess we should read the =E2=80=9C-e=E2=80=9D op= tion for services as =E2=80=9CList *optional* services that are enabled=E2=80=9D, with devfs = being mandatory.
