MSS? Is that the maximum send size negotiated in a tcp header? Sorry I just don't recognize that acronym and I don't have my Steven's books with me. If so I missed it in the trace, but I can reproduce it. I had just silently attributed it to "net.local.dgram.maxdgram: 2048" in my own mind but wasn't sure.
